Kalbarri National Park is one of the most popular destinations. 93 km north of Geraldton there is a turn to Adjana road, which leads to the park and town of Kalbarri. You can also turn west at Northampton and follow the new road to Port Gregory and to the park.
Actually, there are two parts of the park - Murchison River gorges and coastal (please see another album). Both are worth seeing. If you wish to see the river first - take the Adjana road. Please do not forget come coins - the entry to the park costs about $10 and there is usually no one there - just the ticket machine, but please do pay the fee. More information can be obtained from Kalbarri Visitors Centre, phone +61-8-9937-1104. You will have to leave your caravan or trailer before proceeding to the gorges. All walks are moderately easy and stepladder leads to the river. It would be, however, prudent not to undertake any walks in the park alone and have plenty of drinking water with you.
